April 2002 – Alexandria, VA – Dean Creative partnered with area ad agency Williams Whittle Associates to create a national campaign for Precision Tune Auto Care (PTAC). This highly visible work includes 5 TV spots, 9 radio spots, a range of print ads, outdoor, and FSIs. This is the first major advertising push from PTAC in many years. The campaign features the adventures of Precision Man – a half man / half machine who rescues stranded motorists in many of humorous situations. The television spots have modern animation. And the radio campaign has many colorful character voices. Copywriter Brian Dean performed a total of 5 character voices including the hero, Precision Man. “This is the most fun I’ve ever had in the advertising business”, said Brian. “The Creative Director and I presented this campaign live in person, and we acted out all the characters. February 2002 – Arlington, VA – Copywriter Brian Dean wrote a series of brochures for Charles E. Smith, the leading real estate developer in the Washington DC region. The collateral promoted various local properties for prospective renters. The assignment called for branding each major property with its own tagline. Brian Dean written copy for a variety of real estate clients including Toll Brothers, Valcourt, Guardian Realty Investors, and RealGrade.com.
January 2002 – Alexandria, VA – Writer / Producer Brian Dean partnered with agency Williams Whittle to write and produce a humorous radio campaign for RealGrade.com, an online service that helps you find a real estate agent. The spots were “virtually produced” in Alexandria using an ISDN Internet connection to work with Virginia Beach audio recording studio, EarWorks. Brian has written and produced over 200 radio commercials in his career, many of which have won local and national awards.
