November 2001 – Alexandria, VA – Dean Creative wrote and produced a national advertising campaign for “Trusted Choice” – the new insurance brand of the Independent Insurance Agents of America. The new creative work features animation set to an audio track of colorful consumers of insurance and fun sound effects. The corresponding radio campaign leverages the audio tracks from television for even more synergy. Dean partnered with ad agency Williams Whittle Associates to create the campaign.
September 2001 – Alexandria, VA – Dean Creative produced a television spot for the Center for Individual Freedom, an issues-oriented activist group. The spot is completely animated, and urges Congress to continue the ban on taxing Internet purchases. Freelance copywriter / producer Brian Dean was hired by the award-winning design firm Wordmarque to help concept and execute this commercial.
August 2001 – Pittsburgh, PA – Dean Creative partnered with MCM Communications in Shadyside, PA to create a new brochure for the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC). The brochure promoted the new developments in treating paralysis. Researchers are harvesting stem cells from a patient’s bone marrow, and then reinserting them into damaged tissues in an effort to encourage regeneration. This technology may help researchers circumvent the many controversies surrounding stem cell research – and ultimately help those who are paralyzed walk again. Freelance copywriter Brian Dean has plenty of experience in healthcare marketing, as he has written for dozens of hospitals and medical centers.
July 2001 – Alexandria, VA – Dean Creative sponsored a local volleyball team in the Alexandria Recreational League. The new team, known as The Ski Bums, is comprised of various snow sport fanatics in the Washington, DC area. Many of the teammates belong to a group ski house at Seven Springs ski resort in Champion, PA. The house is affectionately known around the mountain as “The Ski Haus of Shame.” Freelance copywriter Brian Dean will serve as captain of the new sports team and he will be recruiting new players for the Fall Leagues.
