Our Process
Our approach to DC annual report design and writing is fluid. Many tasks must happen simultaneously. First, our project manager Carolyn gathers info from the client and establishes the strategic goals and rough content. Brian and Peggy develop memorable theme options to capture your achievements while promoting your strengths. And, Don designs the covers and a few spreads to establish a look and tone. Next, Brian and Peggy interview staff and stakeholders to write feature stories while Don photographs them. Stories give the book a human face and a welcome break from data. Don designs various charts and graphs to complement the report’s look. Next Brian and Peggy edit, streamline, and polish Carolyn’s info and write strong persuasive copy that instills confidence. Once we receive all feedback, Peggy edits again, ensuring proper grammar, style, and accuracy. Approvals require intensive, back-and-forth collaboration with the client, and we revise swiftly. Ultimately, we deliver an annual report that pleases the CEO, CFO, Board, investors, and audience. Dean Creative can also supervise printing as we have solid relationships with printers and brokers. We’ll do the legwork, and you’ll get the best price.
